1. Agreement
These Terms (“Terms”) govern your use of the FormiFox mobile app, the FormiFox website (formifox.com), and any related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by FormiFox. By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use FormiFox. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Your account
Some features (cloud conversions, subscriptions) require a FormiFox account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Contact info@formifox.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. Free tier & Pro subscription
The Service is offered on two tiers:
- Free — unlimited on-device conversions; 20 cloud credits per month; on-device files up to 50 MB; cloud uploads up to 25 MB; batch up to 2 files.
- Pro — 75 cloud credits per month; on-device files up to 500 MB; cloud uploads up to 100 MB; batch up to 10 files; priority queue; no ads.
Pro is available as a monthly subscription ($3.99 / month), a yearly subscription ($24.99 / year), or a one-time 30-day pass ($5.00). Subscriptions are billed by Apple App Store or Google Play. The monthly and yearly plans auto-renew until cancelled in your platform's subscription settings. The one-time pass does not auto-renew. Prices may vary by region and currency.
4.1 Auto-renewable subscription terms (Apple App Store)
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the selected plan.
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
- By subscribing you agree to Apple's standard End User License Agreement and these Terms.
4.2 Subscription terms (Google Play)
- Payment is charged to your Google Play account.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in Google Play → Subscriptions at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancelling stops future renewals; refunds for the current period are governed by Google Play's refund policy.
4.3 Price and plan changes
We reserve the right to change the price, features, or availability of any subscription plan or the Free tier at any time. We will give at least 14 days' notice of price increases by posting the new pricing on the website and, where required by the platform, through the App Store or Google Play price-change consent flow.
- Price changes for new subscribers take effect immediately on publication.
- Price changes for existing auto-renewing subscribers take effect at the start of the next billing cycle after the notice period. Apple and Google will send you a consent notification; if you do not consent, your subscription will not renew.
- Changes to Free-tier limits (credits, file sizes, batch sizes) take effect immediately and without individual notice. We will announce material changes on the website and in the app.
- Discontinued plans will remain active until the end of the current paid period, after which they will not renew.
4.4 Free trials and introductory offers
We may offer a free trial or introductory price for new subscribers at our discretion. These offers are available once per Apple ID / Google account and only to users who have not previously subscribed to that plan. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the standard subscription price. All free-trial and introductory-offer terms are displayed at the point of purchase in the App Store or Google Play.
5. Refunds
Refund requests are handled by the platform that processed your payment (Apple or Google). We do not have the ability to issue refunds for purchases made through the App Store or Play Store.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload content that is illegal, infringes copyright, contains malware, or violates anyone's privacy;
- attempt to bypass quota or rate limits, reverse-engineer the Service, or interfere with its operation;
- use the Service to build a competing product, scrape data, or resell processing capacity;
- upload files containing child sexual abuse material — these will be reported to authorities.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without notice or refund.
7. Your content
You retain all rights to files you upload. By using cloud conversions you grant FormiFox a limited license to process those files solely for the purpose of returning the converted output to you. We do not use your files to train AI models, do not share them with third parties, and delete them within 24 hours (see the Privacy Policy).
8. Intellectual property
The FormiFox app, website, brand, icons, and source code are owned by FormiFox and protected by intellectual-property law. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them except as permitted by these Terms or by separate open-source licenses included with the app.
9. Third-party services
The Service uses Firebase, Google Cloud, RevenueCat, and the Apple / Google sign-in providers. Their terms apply to the parts of the Service they operate.
10. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that converted files will be a perfect representation of the originals.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FormiFox is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $50 — whichever is greater.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold FormiFox harmless from any claim or demand (including legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using FormiFox at any time and delete your account from Settings → Delete Account. We may terminate or restrict access if you violate these Terms or if continued operation becomes legally or commercially infeasible.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Istanbul Central (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
16. Data protection
Use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
